WEEK 1: RAINFOREST & HIGHLANDS RIDING

  • Day 1: Medan to Bukit Lawang (The Warm-up)

    • Focus: Lane filtering safely. Watch for sudden stops by local minivans (Angkot).
  • Day 2 & 3: No Riding (Jungle Trekking & Camping)
    • Note: Bike parked safely at the lodge.
  • Day 4: Bukit Lawang to Tangkahan (The Off-Road Challenge)
    • Road: Rough gravel, dirt tracks, wooden bridges. Muddy if it rains.
    • Focus: Low gear, steady throttle. Deep-tread tires recommended.
  • Day 5: No Riding (Elephant Experience)
  • Day 6: Tangkahan to Berastagi (The Mountain Climb)
    • Road: Winding asphalt, steep climbs, tight switchbacks.
